The Caribbean Testing Board (CTB) is a non-profit organization created in Barbados in 2017 with the aim of promoting the professionalization of testing through an international certification scheme. The CTB is the representative of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB®) for the English speaking community.

Goals of the CTB

• Promote a framework in software testing to improve software testing techniques and promote software testing as a profession throughout the English-speaking Caribbean.

• Foster quality and excellence in new technologies and communications, expanding international exchange of talents and technology in software testing development.

​

• Enhance training and strengthen the international exchange and cooperation among the countries represented in the ISTQB®, as well as among the Caribbean testing companies and professionals.

• Provide international accreditation to companies and professionals in the software testing sector, within the framework of the ISTQB®.
